Six days from Glasgow's edge to the foot of Ben Nevis, tracing lochs, glens, and open moorland across the Scottish Highlands.

Overview

Scotland's original long-distance trail, running from the outskirts of Glasgow to the base of Ben Nevis. The route climbs out of lowland farmland into the wild country around Loch Lomond, then opens onto Rannoch Moor, one of the last true wildernesses in Britain, before the final stretch through Glen Nevis. Waymarked and well-trodden, but the weather changes fast — every day can look different by afternoon.
