Milford Track
Overview
A point-to-point walk through native rainforest, river valley, and a high alpine pass, finishing at one of the most photographed fjords on Earth. Both ends are boat-access only — there's no road in or out, which keeps the trail uncrowded despite its reputation.Huts are booked out months ahead during the main season. The reward is a single sustained walk-in to Milford Sound rather than a day-trip crowd seeing it from a bus.
