Torres del Paine Circuit
Overview
The W Circuit through Torres del Paine National Park, named for the shape it traces beneath the granite towers. Wind-scoured steppe gives way to southern beech forest and glacial lakes the color of milk glass, with the French Valley opening onto hanging glaciers on either side. It ends with a pre-dawn climb to the base of the Torres, three granite spires lit orange as the sun clears the range.
